About the Game
The main game screen has a backdrop of constantly moving ocean water, which gives a high-quality look to the game from the outset. There’s a pier in the background, and an abandoned-looking fairground with a Ferris wheel to the right. Wait long enough and you’ll be surprised by the odd Great White shark leaping out of the water, mouth agape. The game is strewn with great little animations like this, which make it endlessly entertaining to look at. The symbols fit with the apocalyptic, disaster theme of the game, and include rusty 10, J, Q, K and A letters, along with faces of the film’s main characters. Bonus features include:
- HELICOPTER BONUS – occasionally, you might witness a Sharknado whip up. A helicopter will be dispatched and drop an explosive to destroy it. Should it destroy its target, the explosion will whip random Shark WILDS onto the reels, which substitute for all symbols apart from SCATTERS.
- SHARKNADO MODE – at random intervals, a tornado will send the game into Sharknado Mode. This gives the player a random multiplier from 2x to 5x for a number of rounds between 5 and 12.
- FREE SPINS – 3 or more SCATTERED Chainsaw symbols trigger a number of free spins, depending on how many symbols are in the triggering combination. For example, 3 Chainsaws gives between 5 and 10 Free Spins, 4 Chainsaws gives between 11 and 15 Free Spins, and 5 Chainsaws fives between 16 and 20 Free Spins.
