About the Game

The Lucky Tree is a symbol from Chinese mythology. When its branches shake, it dispenses wealth and riches to all who are fortunate enough to be under its branches. The tree makes an appearance on the screen in the game, standing to the right of the reels. The lower value symbols on the reels are the standard numbers and letters. The higher value symbols are beautifully rendered, and are as set of Chinese related symbols, which include lizards, lotus flowers and a very confident looking white cat.

The wild coin bonus feature is worth looking out for, and is triggered randomly during the base game. When this feature is triggered, the Lucky Tree at the side of the reels shakes. Two to seven coins fall from its branches onto the reels, where they turn symbols into wilds, giving you more chances of winning. The wild symbol is a coin.

You should also look out for the YinYang symbol, as this gives you the chance to participate in a free game bonus where mystery wilds appear on every spin. If you see the lucky cat, you can benefit from a multiplier of up to 5000x your stake. Three YingYang symbols appearing on the second, third and fourth reels gives you 10 free spins.

About the Developer

Bally Technologies has been in existence since 1932, when it was founded in Chicago, Michigan, USA by a chap called Raymond T. Moloney. The first game they released after the company was established was called Ballyhoo, and it was a pinball game. In 1936, the Bally Boy, their first slots game, followed. The company continued to grow, and by the late 1960s over nine out of 10 slot machines being played on in Las Vegas were being made by Bally.

In 2001, the company began acquiring smaller, digital services companies as it started to take advantage of the opportunities afforded by the internet and online gambling. By 2013, Bally was generating annual revenue in excess of $1billion. Bally now employs more than 4200 people in 25 different premises in many different countries.

Other Bally games are:

  • Moon Goddess
  • Lady Robin Hood
